Jasmin Walsh shares with us the secret of her lovely tiger! Grrowl!

Materials used

Paints-

Grimas Yellow 203
Snazaroo dark orange
Snazaroo rusty brown
Snazaroo white
Wolfe Black

Brushes-

Large flat brush (for the nose)
N6 DaVinci sable brush (for all of the stripes)
Grimas S2 (for the teeth) 

Step by Step

Step one- Start by sponging on the yellow on the forehead, nose and cheeks. Next sponge orange from the out side blending in to the yellow, dab a bit of the rusty brown to the outer edges, finally sponge the white on to the mouth and eyes.
Step two- With the large flat brush, brush the black on to the nose (from the bottom of the nose up) almost like a flicking motion upwards. With the da vinci brush add the muzzle.
Step three- With the da vinci brush, start the stripes over the eye, begin the stripe parallel to the eye then take it up to cover the edge of the white, then add the stripes over the forehead making the stripes thin to begin, then thick and then thin again.

Step four-

Add the teeth (white of the teeth first then the black lines). Add stripes around the eyes and cheeks, working the lines from the out side of the face going inwards, starting with thin lines, then pressing the brush down to get thicker lines, then lifting the brush to finish with thin lines again.

As a final touch you can add some small dots or stripes under the eye and  top of the forehead and chin, and paint the bottom lip with gold. The finished tiger!
