Featured Artist - Simon Smith
Looking at Simon Smith's work, it's hard to believe he began bodypainting less than a year ago.   Not only is he a talented photographer, he has successfully expanded his artistic reach into bodypainting and making his own SFX prosthetics to complement it.  He also got a nice surprise when he won first place in the amateur bodypainting category at the recent Welsh Festival.  Here Simon talks about his new-found love of body art and gives us some advice on photographing our work.

Alex Hansen in the UK
When Paul and Juliet of Façade Academy of Face & Body Art invited me to go and stay with them for a few days, I was delighted to go and visit them.  When they mentioned that Alex Hansen and Brush Strokes columnist, John Davis, would also be staying, and that we'd be partying and jamming with a bunch of other bodypainters, it was a done deal!
